Analog and IP CCTV system installation complete training in Ikeja – November 1 – 12

From November 1, 2021, our next training on complete CCTV surveillance system installation and maintenance would commence and last for 2 weeks in Ikeja, Lagos. You will learn and develop practical skills to install and maintain analog and IP surveillance system. In this two weeks training, you would be able to understand, specify equipment and carry out practical installation of CCTV surveillance system using analog and digital or IP technologies.

TRAINING CONTENT

MODULE 1

• Introduction to CCTV surveillance systems
• Type of CCTV surveillance systems
• Identify analogue CCTV system components
• Prepare video and power cables for CCTV installation
• Identity, understand and test camera power supply and other power options
• Identify Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and its functions
• Install and understand the functions of Hard Disk Drive
• Connect AHD Cameras and DVR
• Operations of CCTV system – recording types, storage and video playback/li>
• Configure and connect DVR to network
• Requirement for remote and mobile view
• Download and setup mobile view on smart phone
• System troubleshooting and fault resolution
• Site survey operations

MODULE 2

• Understand difference between IP and Analog CCTV systems
• Basic networking concepts – IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, DHCP, DNS, WiFi etc.
• Prepare Cat6 network cables
• Identify IP Cameras
• Identify and configure WiFi cameras
• Understand power requirement options for IP Camera – POE switch, power adapter
• Configure and operate IP cameras
• Configure NVR
• Configure 4G router for internet access
• Configure remote and mobile view
• Download and setup mobile view on Android and IOS
